Transform your interior into a comfortable and warm cocoon with this authentic Berber rug woven in the Atlas Mountains in the heart of Morocco.
Our Berber rugs are made by the women of the Berber tribes. The raw material is the wool of a specific variety of sheep, known for its small size and great resistance. The creation of these rugs requires exceptional craftsmanship, passed down from generation to generation, as well as a great deal of patience. It takes from 1 to 4 months - depending on the size of the rug - to make each of these unique pieces.
These high-end rugs woven by the Marmoucha Berber tribe in the Moroccan Atlas have a unique suppleness and softness. Made with high-quality sheep's wool, these rugs with often two-tone patterns reminiscent of Berber traditions, have a very soft texture, long pile and shades close to pearly white. To take care of a Berber carpet, it is advisable to dust the carpet regularly and gently. Ideally, opt for a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle. In case of stains, quickly blot with absorbent paper, if necessary use baking soda, before finishing the treatment with a vacuuming session.
