Our Berber rugs are made by women from Berber tribes. The raw material is the wool of a specific variety of sheep, known for its small size and high strength. Creating these rugs requires exceptional craftsmanship, passed down from generation to generation, as well as a large dose of patience. It takes 1 to 4 months - depending on the size of the rug - to make each of these unique pieces.
These rugs are woven in the Moroccan region of Boujad. Their often bright and bold color palette is obtained from natural dyes extracted from local plants. To take care of a Berber carpet, it is advisable to regularly and gently dust the carpet. Ideally, opt for a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle. In case of stains, blot quickly with absorbent paper, if necessary use baking soda, before finishing the treatment with a vacuuming session.
