Berber rugs are made by the women of Berber tribes. The main raw material for these rugs is the wool of a very special sheep, a breed characterized by its small size and exceptional robustness. Rug making requires extensive expertise passed down from generation to generation and a great deal of patience.

Maintaining a Berber rug begins with how you clean it. It's important to vacuum the rug regularly and as gently as possible. It's best to use a vacuum cleaner with a soft attachment to avoid damaging it. If a stain occurs, you can use baking soda before vacuuming again.

Our custom-made rugs are crafted using an artisanal process: each knot is handwoven, one by one. Once the weaving process is complete, the rug is washed and left to air dry in Morocco's mild, dry climate.

This process takes time, but it guarantees a high-quality product, made with respect for tradition.
