Our Berber carpets are made by the women of the Berber tribes. The raw material is the wool of a variety of specific sheep, recognized for its small size and its great resistance. The creation of these carpets requires exceptional crafts, transmitted from generation to generation, as well as a large dose of patience. It takes 1 to 4 months - depending on the size of the carpet - to make each of these unique pieces. These carpets are woven in the Moroccan region of Boujad. Their palette of often bright and daring colors is obtained from natural dyes extracted from local plants. To take care of a Berber carpet, it is advisable to carry out a regular and gentle dusting of the carpet. Ideally, opt for a vacuum cleaner with a soft tip. In case of spots, pay off quickly with absorbent paper, if necessary to use baking soda, before finishing the treatment with a suction session.
