At AFK Living, we have chosen Portugal for part of our production because of its textile heritage, its demand for quality and its commitment to sustainability.
In this region of southern Europe, weaving is a craft passed down from generation to generation, where each rug takes shape with care, attention and mastery.
Manufacturing in Portugal also means reducing distances, favoring shorter circuits and guaranteeing transparent production conditions.

Our Portuguese partner workshops work on mechanical or semi-artisanal looms, allowing a precise rendering while retaining the spirit of handmade.
Each rug has slight singularities which testify to an authentic gesture, far from standardized production.
Expert and committed workshops
We collaborate with passionate weavers, recognized for their high standards, their rigor in finishes and their attention to detail.
Each part is checked on site, one by one, to guarantee the quality we want for your interior.
Responsible & soft materials every day
Most of the rugs in our Portuguese collection are made in recycled cotton. This material, made from recycled textile scraps, offers:
- A second life for already existing fibers;
- A reduction in environmental impact;
- A soft and comfortable texture under the foot;
- Ease of maintenance adapted to everyday life.
These rugs fit naturally into any room: living room, bedroom, dining room or children's room.
