Berber rugs are made by women from Berber tribes. The main raw material for these rugs is wool from a very particular type of sheep, a breed characterized by its small size and great robustness. The making of the rug requires great craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation, as well as a lot of patience.

Caring for a Berber rug begins with how it is cleaned. It is necessary to vacuum regularly and as gently as possible. It is best to use a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle to avoid damaging it. In case of a stain, baking soda can be used before vacuuming again.

Our custom rugs are made using an artisanal process: each knot is hand-woven, one by one. Once weaving is complete, the rug is washed, then left to air dry in the mild, dry climate of Morocco. This process takes time, but it guarantees a high-quality product, made with respect for tradition.
