Berber rugs are handcrafted by women of the Berber tribes. The main raw material for these rugs is the wool of a very special sheep, a breed characterized by its small size and great robustness. The making of the rug requires great craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation, as well as a lot of patience.

Maintaining a Berber rug begins with how it is cleaned. It is necessary to vacuum regularly and as gently as possible. It is best to use a device with a soft nozzle to avoid damaging it. In case of a stain, baking soda can be used before vacuuming again.

Our custom rugs are made using a traditional artisanal process: each knot is hand-woven, one by one. Once the weaving is complete, the rug is washed, then left to dry in the open air, under the mild and dry climate of Morocco. This process takes time, but it guarantees a high-quality product, made with respect for tradition.
