Berber rugs are made by women from Berber tribes. The main raw material for these rugs is the wool of a very specific sheep, a breed characterized by its small size and great robustness. The making of the rug requires great craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation, as well as a lot of patience.

Caring for a Berber rug begins with how it is cleaned. It is necessary to vacuum regularly and as gently as possible. It is best to use a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle to avoid damaging it. In case of a stain, baking soda can be used before vacuuming again.

Our custom-made rugs are produced using an artisanal process: each knot is hand-woven, one by one. Once the weaving is complete, the rug is washed, then left to air dry, in the mild, dry climate of Morocco. This process takes time, but it guarantees a high-quality product, made with respect for traditions.
