Berber rugs are made by women from Berber tribes. The main raw material for these rugs is wool from a very special sheep, a breed characterized by its small size and great robustness. The making of the rug requires great expertise passed down from generation to generation, as well as a lot of patience.

Maintaining a Berber rug begins with how it is cleaned. It is necessary to vacuum regularly and as gently as possible. It is best to use a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle to avoid damaging it. In case of a stain, you can use baking soda before vacuuming again.

Our custom-made rugs are made using an artisanal process: each knot is hand-woven, one by one. Once the weaving is finished, the rug is washed, then left to dry in the open air, under the mild and dry climate of Morocco. This process takes time, but it guarantees a high-quality product, made with respect for traditions.
